New Unity Forum 11/12/2008
Well I decided it's time to open up my own Unity forum today and here it is finally: http://www.theunityartist.com/forum/ Rock'n'Roll for ipod/iphone... 11/11/2008
Surely, its a possibility. Problem is funding at the moment. I need a new mac and additional software. So until I can afford all that it will remain a windows and mac compatible application. Anybody feel like sponsoring? Anyhow, here is a mock-up of how it could look like (it's an actual screenshot of Rock'n'Roll mounted on top of an iphone). Making progress... 11/10/2008
Ricardo J. Mendez is the name of the programmer helping me out on the RPG Dice application. Nice guy and talented too. Thought I'd post another link to a new alpha version showing Bjorn Hurri's awesome artwork (and there will be quite a bit from him in the end). Click below for a new video: It's all about the dice... 11/08/2008
It's not a crime to play dungeons and dragons is it? In fact, I'd rather play D&D than WoW on a computer which is pretty much nothing but a "click-and-slash" or click and "cast-spell" game in my opinion. The "Behave" Project is a system for designing, integrating and running behavior logic using behavior trees for simulated characters in "Unity" projects. More info can be gathered here: UA 2008 - And the winner is... 10/24/2008
Jake Fletcher and I entered the Unity Award 2008 contest this year and the final winners have just been announced. Well, we are not in the list of winners but we both actually won more than we could wish for. Because of our entry we made good contacts and even got freelance jobs. What else can you ask for? Anyhow, click on the link to read more about the contest and the winners: ATARI President Phil Harrison at UNITE 2008 10/23/2008
At the Unite 2008 developer conference in Denmark, in a roundtable discussion with developers and members of the press (including Gamasutra), Atari president Phil Harrison has been speaking in more detail about his vision to "democratize development" by using tools such as the low-cost Unity game engine .... |
